Stacey trained as a competitive dancer for 15 years at Pointe Counterpointe Dance Center in Garden City, Michigan. During her dance career, she held numerous titles, including Teen Miss Dance of Michigan and Miss Dance of Michigan through the Dance Masters of America Organization. She was also a stage back-up dancer for Jesse McCartney and was a Vegas finalist for So You Think You Can Dance Season 9.
She attended Michigan State University where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Athletic Training and Kinesiology and was a member of the MSU Dance Team.
She then proceeded to earn a master’s degree in Kinesiology from The Pennsylvania State University where she worked as an athletic trainer for Dance, Cheerleading and Track and Field and conducted her thesis research on injury prevention in youth ballet dancers.
Stacey worked as the assistant coach of the MSU Dance Team from 2019-2023, prior to opening the studio. She has also served as adjunct faculty for the MSU Department of Theatre and is a Dance Masters of America certified instructor in ballet, tap, jazz and acrobatics. She is an active member of Dance Masters of Michigan, Chapter 4. She is also a regional competition judge for Applause Talent and has 15 years of experience as a dance instructor.
